This season’s family sessions are off to a wonderful start. Unfortunately, this means that I have less time for blogging since I am spending so much time with these awesome families! But I am sure that my loyal blog-readers understand.
And because everyone has been so patient with me, I am posting one superblogpost with some of my favorite shots from a few sessions. Enjoy!
Christina and her family:

The Urrea family – their second session with me. You can see their first session here.

The Eisenbarth family, also their second session. You can see their first session here.

The Stanley family – doesn’t Brooke look amazing for just having a baby a couple months ago?!

I am keeping this short due to how many sessions I still have to edit, but I promise there are more to come! If you are interested in a family session like those posted above, I have only one or two weekend slots left before Christmas. Contact me right away!

For me, one of the most interesting things about this session (other than having TWO Andreas on my hands!) was the fact that I had two models with very different ideas of what they wanted. This is Andrea M., and you can probably see how different her shots came out compared to those of Andrea C. Because of the two very different personalities and the fun atmosphere, this had to be one of my favorite sessions of all time!

Here is yet another engagement session at another super fun (for me!) location. I know it’s sad, but this was my first trip to the Chico State campus. Jen and Brian doubled as amazing models AND tour guides on my first trip to the university. Congrats on your engagement, you two! I know your wedding will be a blast!

When Lona, Josh, and I sat down to talk about their engagement session, I was very pleased to hear that they were interested in shooting in Santa Cruz. It’s always so nice for me to get out of town and get a little variety in my sessions, so I instantly agreed and jumped on the opportunity. Upon arrival, Santa Cruz was cool and beautiful – perfect weather for a big, comfy sweater. Lucky for us, the sun also decided to peek out in the middle of our session. Here are a few of my favorite shots from the day – Lona and Josh are such a sweet couple!

And it didn’t take much encouragement to get them to act like they liked each other!

Thanks for a wonderful evening on the Boardwalk, Lona and Josh! I am looking forward to your wedding in May!

If the title of this blog seems kind of odd, that was my intention. This is “The Andrea” boudoir session because on this afternoon, I was lucky enough to capture not one beautiful Andrea, but two! This first part will cover the gorgeous Andrea C., an awesome gal that I have known for a little over a year now. She was in the market for a boudoir session with a pin-up look as a gift for her partner. I would have to say that we were successful in capturing some amazing images of her.
And, of course, stay tuned for the second part of the Andrea session!
And ladies – don’t forget: Christmas is coming up! If you are interested in scheduling a session like Andrea’s, booking early will be important. With all of the family portrait sessions going on before Christmas, my schedule is filling up fast!

Sometimes I don’t realize exactly how much fun I have had shooting a wedding until I get home and view what I have captured. This wedding was definitely one of those cases. Another chance at being a second shooter was a wonderful opportunity, and I am lucky enough that I was invited to shoot with the lovely and talented Calvina again.
Winnie and Mark’s wedding was classy and beautiful. It helped that their location was naturally gorgeous. I had never heard of this vineyard, but there it was, tucked next to the Sacramento River, just south of Freeport. Calvina and I had a heyday at this venue, and I definitely suggest a visit if you are in the area!
Congrats, Winnie and Mark!

I had such a good time with Nyssa and Matthew and their wedding party. The whole group was very upbeat and lively despite the heat of the day – I wish I had had more time to spend with this awesome wedding party. (And guys, I don’t know HOW you wear those tuxes in the middle of summer like that!)
Nyssa and Matthew, a huge congrats to you!

A quick note to everyone – it’s that time of year again! My schedule fills up so fast in the fall that I end up not being able to meet up with many of my clients who are interested in sessions. Please contact me as soon as possible if you are interested in a slot. I guarantee that every weekend will be booked!

I am pretty far behind on my blogging with all of the weddings that are going on this month, but I had to post this one as soon as possible. I had been looking forward to this wedding all year long, no exaggeration! When Shayna booked me for her wedding back in January, I knew that her event was going to be fun and absolutely beautiful. The bride chose Tiffany blue and hot pink accents for her colors, and they reflected her style perfectly. Here are just a few of my favorite shots from the day. I am sure that a second post will follow soon!

Thank you to Shayna, Mike, and their awesome wedding party! The whole group was such a blast to work with!

I have been holding on to this session for a couple of weeks because it was a present from one of my best friends to the soon-to-be mommy. It was really hard to resist posting these shots because I felt so fortunate to capture Kara’s beautiful belly. Kara was so patient with me and my crazy ideas! And isn’t she gorgeous?
