First of all, I would like to admit that this is my first newborn session. I have never before been given the pleasure of having access to such new life during a photo shoot, and I was so thankful for this opportunity! I still have a lot to learn when it comes to handling newborns, but I think that it will come naturally after a few more shoots like this.
Chastity and Keith invited me to come to their home in Woodland back in January to capture some maternity photos before Cayla’s arrival. We had a wonderful session, and Keith Jr. stole the spotlight in many shots, much like in this one:
Fortunately for me, Chastity contacted me as soon as they arrived home from the hospital with little Cayla. Here is a little preview for Chastity and her family. And Chastity, I promise that there are many, many more!

The Rose Family

Meet the Rose family! We had a wonderful session last Saturday. Mike and Kim have two awesome little boys with loads of energy, and the Folsom Powerhouse was a great location for them to run around and explore.
Because Mike is being deployed, Kim decided she wanted to get some nice shots with Mike, Aiden, and Collin before dad had to leave again. A big thanks to this family for letting me spend some of their precious little time together capturing these shots.
