I just love this couple! These two are the best – Lona with her magnetic, completely contagious smile, and Josh with his handsome, quiet presence and his obvious love for Lona… I enjoyed their wedding immensely! I also appreciate these two being so patient with me while I am getting back on track with all my blogging. Congratulations, you two!

For Stacey and Shawn, this winery is special to them in many ways. At one point they became wine club members at Sebastiani, and have spent a lot of time on the grounds with each other and also separately with friends and family members. (On a side note – I can vouch for how awesome the wine is. Shawn and Stacey were generous enough to treat me to a tasting of the best red the winery had to offer. All I can say is YUM!) It was nice to have Stacey suggest the winery as a place for us to do their engagement session because there was so much to see in that one little area.

Stacey and Shawn are a special couple to me because they are my first wedding clients after moving to Colusa County. So even though I have felt the stress and uncertainty of moving my family and my business base to a new place, I am feeling incredibly fortunate to meet people like these two. Thanks for understanding when it took me a little longer than usual to post a preview for you, Stacey and Shawn. :-) And I will have the rest of the pictures to you as soon as possible!

The Stanley Cousins

This family was so awesome to hang out with! The kids (and parents) were having a great time coming up with new ideas for pictures, and I loved the ones they came up with! Thanks to the Stanleys for such a fun session before I take some time off. :-)

I love these little albums! I’m totally thinking about designing one for my wedding day. :-) This lay-flat book comes with 20 to 30 pages of color and black and white images from the engagement session. I designed the one below for Lona and Josh (preview of their wedding coming soon!). The pages can be signed by guests will little notes, advice and good wishes. I like the idea of being able to write directly on the pages and pictures themselves – SO awesome!

I’m currently offering these 8×8 guest book albums at an excellent price. Any current or future brides, please let me know if you are interested!

Once again, I am apologizing to my clients for being so far behind on blogging. Wedding season has caught up with me, and I’m still running to catch it! I have a couple of weddings and a Sonoma engagement session to blog, but I am not sure those will be posted soon due to the fact that I will be on a personal/medical leave for about two weeks starting June 15th.

I am sure that everyone remembers the story behind this couple – Kati and Chad are the two who have known each other since first grade. They finally tied the knot two Saturdays ago in an intimate little ceremony held in the Capitol Park Rose garden. Kati and Chad’s closest friends and family were present for the exchanging of their vows and a small backyard reception afterward. I am so happy for these two – I know this has been a day they have looked forward to for a long time!

I think she was slightly pleased with how well Chad cleaned up. :-)

Yay for beautiful, blue skies and white, fluffy clouds!

Chad was getting some lovin’ after the ceremony…

And he looked great with his lovely parasol! :-)

After all the hard work, this group was ready to cut loose. I wish I had more time to post shots of everyone dancing – they had a great time!

Congratulations, Kati and Chad – I feel blessed to have been able to spend the day with such a solid couple. :-) Best wishes for your VERY BRIGHT future!
