Yet another wedding that I just couldn’t get enough of – the colors and location were just a photographer’s dream! I would definitely have to recommend the Firehouse to any future brides shopping for a venue – the patio is lovely for an evening reception.
Congrats Nicole and Dan! I hope you enjoy this little preview half as much as I enjoyed capturing and editing them. Best wishes for a beautiful future together.

This blog is SUPER long overdue (forgive me, Arlette and Aaron!), but it is the source of MUCH excitement for me. This is the first wedding I’ve had the pleasure of having Aimee of White Daisy Photography along as my second shooter. Some of her shots are mixed in with mine and they’re awesome! In addition to shooting with Aimee, I’m also excited about the posts that will follow this one. I love beautiful weddings!
Arlette and Aaron trusted me to capture their special day as they officially brought their little family together. Thanks so much, you two! Your wedding was beautiful!
Arlette had – prior to the wedding – told Aaron many tall tales about the size, shape, and design of her dress, hairstyle, etc. in an effort to throw him off the trail of her actual wedding day style…

It SEEMS a little early for this post, but it truly is not. Fall is right around the corner, and holiday portrait sessions will be booking up fast. Unfortunately, this year will book up even faster than previous years due to my busy schedule. In addition to wedding season running longer than usual, my husband and I recently found out that we are expecting another baby in March. My normal hectic running-around-like-a-crazy-woman schedule will probably not work for a pregnant woman this fall, so I will only be offering limited photo sessions. Four sessions per month during September, October, and November will likely be my max, so I strongly encourage families to book sessions now. All bookings will require a $50 non-refundable deposit to hold the date, especially with weekend sessions being most popular. Below are available weekend dates for fall sessions:

Please contact me for available weekdays, including Fridays. It is unlikely that I will book sessions Monday through Wednesday, but other weekday sessions are possible. It is my goal to not stretch myself too thin and risk my health throughout this pregnancy, so once I book four sessions, the month WILL be closed.

It is always an honor to have clients who are willing to grow with me, to watch me improve, and continue to believe in my ablilities and support my work. Those are the clients I cherish the most – they return again and again, pass on my name, and literally keep my business going. This is how I feel when I think about the Price family. I met Stephanie through a friend of a friend, and she kept coming back to me with her fun ideas. During this session, we ended up in Pacifica and had far more fun than any of us expected. TJ, Stephanie, Emma and Hunter – I consider you one of MY little families. Sorry, I’m slightly possessive. But that’s ok, right?

I had SUCH a great time second shooting for Calvina for this wedding – the whole affair was total eye candy for me! Vivian and Drew are such a great couple – they had rented out the whole lodge for the week of their wedding. Their friends and family stayed in cozy little cabins, swam, and just enjoyed the area. This made for a totally fun and laid-back attitude!
I would like to thank my dear friend Calvina for allowing me to tag along on some of her most awesome weddings. You rock, Cal!
I just loved the colors – they remind me so much of the colors I chose for MY wedding in March!
Guests at the reception were encouraged to try their hand at drinking out of these fun glass containers. The guests are using wine, but I heard from someone that evening that in the past, whiskey was used.

And Vivian loves to listen!
