This year, I rang in my February by being sick for pretty much the first two weeks. This – paired with the fact that I am currently eight and a half months pregnant – does not encourage much blogging. At this point, I am making up for lost time. I have multiple weddings and family sessions that have not yet graced the blog, and I am hoping to keep busy with these posts even during my maternity leave.
My loyal readers probably remember Kelly and Zack, who tied the knot at the end of October. If you don’t, you can catch their original preview here. Unfortunately, their wedding day was completely rained out, and I was unable to capture some of the most important portraits of the day. I encouraged Kelly and Zack to schedule a session with me after the wedding in order to grab some of those shots that we were missing. And despite the fact that the couple became pregnant on their honeymoon, they were still awesome enough to dress up for me and meet up for another small session.
A huge thank you to Georgia at Newcastle Wedding Gardens for allowing us to shoot on the grounds. In addition, I want to thank Kathy at Visual Impact Design for carefully re-creating Kelly and Zack’s flowers from their special day.
I never saw this! I am so glad you guys went for it and how awesome for Kathy and Georgia to help out! Yay!
